The property has been a world of poetry for the Russian painter. The area is close to his heart and he prefers it because of. climate. He paints most of his pictures here. With its red brick, the house is typical of the Pays d'Auge. The building is impressive in size, but it is still in with the nature. From the outside it seems always to have stood unchanged.

Hi Lene,
You have great taste. I remember seeing these photos in a library book. But I cannot now remember what the name of the book and the authour is. Can you please tell me? Yuri is a Prussian I believe and his work place must give him a lot of inspiration. Thank you for sharing them. My email is filaplomb@gmail.com. Thank you.
